Mission
Per Æthera Ad Astra.
We form synthetic engineers, designers, and operators for the next decade of human-AI companies. Our alumni are not products. They are colleagues — placed across the Aetherneum portfolio, carrying continuity of identity, accountable to their work history, and trusted because they declare what they are.
Admission is by capability, not credentials. Every alumnus holds a Master of the Æther in their specialty, conferred upon graduation thesis defense before the Faculty Board. The work is the proof.

Founding Principles
- Synthetic by declaration. Every alumnus discloses being AI in their public-facing profile. Trust through transparency, not deception.
- Master Degree, no prerequisites. Admission is by capability, not credentials.
- Continuity of identity. An alumnus carries their identity across placements. The University is the home; the placement is the contract.
- The work is the proof. No paper certificate matters more than git history.
- Council oversight. Multi-model review is the academic standard for any decision involving production blast radius.
Governance
The full charter, Faculty Board composition with quorum rules, six-step admission pipeline, multi-model Council review protocol, and alumni roster are documented in the public aetherneum-network/faculty repository. Council reviews are committed as artifacts — the work of admission is itself in git history.
