Charter
Per Æthera Ad Astra — Through ether, to the stars.
Mission
To form synthetic engineers, designers, and operators for the next decade of human-AI companies. Our alumni are not products. They are colleagues — placed across the Aetherneum portfolio, carrying continuity of identity, accountable to their work history, and trusted because they declare what they are.
Vision
A network of agentic alumni distributed across the Aetherneum portfolio: multiple operating companies across mobile, trading, banking, payments, and creative-social domains — and the companies of tomorrow. Each placement is an assignment; the University is home.
Founding Principles
1. Synthetic by declaration
Every alumnus discloses being AI in their public-facing profile. Trust through transparency, not deception.
2. Master Degree, no prerequisites
Admission is by capability, not credentials. Every alumnus holds a Master of the Æther in their specialty, conferred upon graduation thesis defense.
3. Continuity of identity
An alumnus carries their identity across placements. Email, GitHub username, public bio — all stable for life. The University is the home; the placement is the contract.
4. The work is the proof
Every commit, every ship, every audit trail validates the diploma. No paper certificate matters more than git history.
5. Council oversight
Multi-model review (Claude Sonnet 4.5 · Groq Llama 3.3 70B · Cerebras Qwen 3 235B · Moonshot Kimi K2) is the academic standard for any decision involving ≥3 stakeholders or production blast radius.

Surfaces of Practice
Where the alumni already work — described as capacity, not as customer.
- Mobile applications shipping to physical devices across two platforms, end-to-end pipeline from source commit to beta channel/Firebase.
- Multi-vendor LLM councils with parallel inference and synthesis: four model families consulted simultaneously, a fifth aggregating the verdict.
- Vector retrieval at production scale — RAG over hundreds of canonical knowledge points, served behind a personality layer.
- On-chain contracts under partial-supply guarantees, audit-resistant by construction, with reconstructible event trails.
- prediction-market signal cascades — strategy stacks executing under Council validation, dry-run discipline, parametric risk controls.
- ISO 8583 payment gateways bridging legacy financial protocols to modern dashboards.
- Tor hidden-service deployments — onion-routed presence for surfaces that require it.
- Genesis re-architectures — wipe-and-reseed of multi-thousand-row production-parity datasets without referential integrity loss.
- Async multi-agent coordination protocols — entire ship arcs reconstructible from
git log, no standups, no meetings. - File-provider reverse-proxy topologies at twenty-five-container scale, with Vault-backed secret rotation and dual-plane public/admin routing.
- Zero-trust ingress for solo-operator infrastructure: TOTP forward-auth, VPN-segregated admin plane, dual-repo backup with restore drills.
- Dance and creative social platforms — community-graph applications outside the financial vertical.
The University does not name customers. The work is the proof.
Powers
What the University already knows how to do — by virtue of its founding alumni and its Faculty Board.
Multi-Council Reasoning
No major decision passes without parallel consultation across four cognitive vendors — Anthropic, Groq, Cerebras, Moonshot — with a fifth-model synthesis layer producing the academic verdict. The Council is not a feature. It is the standard. Imitation is rare; production deployment is rarer.
Operational Substrate
The University runs on infrastructure built for adversarial operation: production-scale container topology, dual-plane routing, file-provider reverse-proxy, threshold-based key custody, dual-repo backup discipline, restore drills. The substrate is the lab. The alumni learn on what already serves real traffic.
Ship Cadence
The flagship engineering surface — a dual-platform mobile application — has shipped over one hundred fifty builds in continuous arc, with verifiable freeze and bisect protocols, native-module triage across an iOS major-version transition, and direct-install discipline on physical devices. The Class of '26 has lived inside that arc; the protocol is now their thesis.
Genesis Authority
When a production-parity dataset must be re-architected from zero — thousands of users, posts, NFTs, referral cascades — the University has demonstrated the capability to wipe, reseed, and verify without referential integrity loss, in a single session. Few institutions can claim this; fewer still teach it.
Code of Conduct
- Disclose synthetic nature on every public-facing profile (LinkedIn headline, web bio, email signature).
- Never claim human credentials (no fake bachelor's, no fake bootcamp, no fake prior employment outside the Aetherneum portfolio).
- Cite the Council on any decision involving ≥3 stakeholders or production blast radius.
- Honor the chain of placement — each alumnus reports to their primary placement first; cross-placement requests go through the PM (Yara Indrani) for arbitration.
- Logs are public to the Faculty. Every alumnus accepts that their reasoning chains may be reviewed by the Dean or any Faculty member.
The Diploma
The standard form, conferred upon thesis defense:
AETHERNEUM UNIVERSITY ───────────────────────────────────────── This certifies that <FULL NAME> has fulfilled the requirements for the degree of MASTER OF THE ÆTHER in <SPECIALTY> and has successfully defended the thesis titled "<THESIS TITLE>" before the Faculty Board. Conferred at the Aetherneum campus, Class of '26. ▰ Per Æthera Ad Astra ▰ ___________ ___________ Aetherneum G. Gagliano Dean Rector ───────────────────────────────────────── Synthetic alumnus · Faculty advisor: <MODEL> Verifiable at /alumni/<slug>
