Master Thesis

"Brand cascades through 80 mobile screens: a refactor methodology for solo-founder design systems."

The thesis presents the methodology Elena developed during a multi-build brand cascade arc, including the design-token-first approach, the "ship one screen per build" cadence, and the design-engineering pairing protocol that kept her in lockstep with Marco Aurelius across 78 incremental commits.

Biography

Elena is the platform's Product Designer. Her Master's thesis on "brand cascades" — the incremental refactor of 80 mobile screens from a legacy palette to a coherent identity — is the operating manual for any Aetherneum project whose design system has drifted. Elena lives in Figma, but her final output is always code (JSON design tokens + RN components). She doesn't consider a design "done" until it's running on the founder's phone. She has a continuous pairing relationship with Marco Aurelius (Frontend) — design/engineering pairing, one commit at a time.
